The Jack Reacher Review

Personal sees Reacher taking a trip to the UK because someone has fired a shot at the President of France. Or something. Jamie is NOT a fan and explains why in this review. Make Me, published in 2015, finds Reacher doing what he does best: wandering into a small town on a whim. Of course, unspeakable deeds are being done there. What captures Reacher’s interest? Why is Michelle Chang such a popular love interest? Is the book a romantic comedy in disguise? Jamie tells all in this review and also finds time to do an impression of an elderly hipster.

The Visitor/Running Blind: The book with two names, The Visitor/Running Blind is the fourth Jack Reacher novel, published in 2000. In this review, Jamie explains those twin titles, why Reacher is a homeowner (!) in this one, why the novel’s psychological thriller elements make it a rarity in the series and digresses to say what celebrity Reacher fan Malcolm Gladwell thinks of criminal profiling.
